You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) to use the Services. By using the Services, you confirm that you meet this requirement.

Nuven provides a personalized cooking and nutrition experience, including a recipe feed, meal planning, pantry tracking, and, where available, grocery ordering and delivery. Features and availability may change over time.

You may need an account to use certain features. You agree to provide accurate information, keep your credentials confidential, and are responsible for all activity under your account. Notify us promptly of any unauthorized use.

Some features may require payment or a paid subscription. When we offer paid plans, the price, billing frequency, renewal, and cancellation terms will be clearly disclosed to you at the time of purchase, and any auto-renewing subscription will be managed through the applicable app store or payment processor. Additional subscription terms will apply and will be presented before you are charged.

Where grocery ordering is available, prices, availability, and product content are subject to change. If a listing contains an obvious pricing error, we may cancel the order and refund you rather than fulfill it, and we will tell you why. Refunds, returns, and delivery are governed by our Returns and Delivery policies, which are part of these Terms.

Nuven is not a medical service and does not provide medical, nutritional, or dietary advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Recipe ratings and content assess food quality and preferences, not clinical suitability. Always read product labels and consult a qualified healthcare provider before making dietary changes, especially if you have allergies, medical conditions, or are pregnant or nursing.

You agree not to:

• Use the Services for any illegal or unauthorized purpose.
• Copy, distribute, or modify any part of the Services without our permission.
• Interfere with or disrupt the Services or their servers.
• Harvest or scrape data from the Services without our consent.
• Reverse engineer or attempt to extract source code except where permitted by law.

You retain ownership of content you submit (such as reviews, notes, or feedback). By submitting it, you grant Nuven a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, sublicensable license to use, host, reproduce, display, and distribute that content in connection with operating and improving the Services. You represent that you have the rights to the content you submit.

The Services and all content we provide — including software, recipes, food data, meal plans, AI-generated content, text, and graphics — are owned or licensed by Nutrition Genie LLC and protected by intellectual property laws. We grant you a limited, personal, non-transferable, non-commercial license to use the Services. All rights not expressly granted are reserved.

The Services may rely on or link to third-party services (such as app stores, payment processors, and delivery partners). Your use of those services is governed by their terms, and we are not responsible for them.

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Services at any time, with or without notice, including for violation of these Terms. You may stop using the Services at any time. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will survive.

The Services are provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Services will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that content is accurate or complete.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Nutrition Genie LLC will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising from your use of the Services. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Services will not exceed the greater of one hundred U.S. dollars ($100) or the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim. Nothing in these Terms limits rights you have under non-waivable consumer-protection laws.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Nutrition Genie LLC and its officers, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of your misuse of the Services or violation of these Terms.

Please read this section carefully — it affects your legal rights. Except where prohibited by law, you and Nuven agree to resolve any dispute relating to the Services through binding individual arbitration, and not in court, and to waive any right to a jury trial or to participate in a class action. You may opt out of this arbitration agreement by emailing support@gonuven.com within 30 days of first accepting these Terms. This section does not prevent either party from bringing an individual claim in small-claims court.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Subject to the arbitration section above, any disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in California.

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the “Last updated” date above and, where appropriate, notify you by email or in the app. Continued use of the Services after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
